Wooden World Map wall decor

3-piece World Map is a graphic world map with nautical lines and a compass rose, divided into three panels. A design for those who love to travel or are looking for a serene image with a story.

Each set is water-cut to order in the Netherlands. You choose the size and material: natural poplar plywood or black MDF. We pre-apply mounting tape to the back of each panel, so you can hang the set without drills or screws.

Why this design

• Nautical details. The compass rose and lines give the map character without overpowering the continents.
• Separate panels, one image. You hang the three panels with a small gap between them. Together, they form a single composition with rhythm and depth.
• Three sizes. From 100 to 140 cm wide, suitable for a narrow or a wide wall.
• Hang without drilling. The mounting tape is already attached. You don't need to cut or stick anything yourself.

Choose your material

Natural poplar plywood (9 mm)
Light wood with a natural grain. It is supplied untreated. Leave it natural for a warm accent, or paint or stain it yourself in a color that matches your interior.

Black MDF (8 mm)
The MDF is black throughout, meaning the cut edges are also black. The continents stand out most sharply against a white, beige, or light gray wall. Ready to hang immediately.

Available sizes

• Small, 100 × 50 cm. A compact size for a narrower wall, above a desk or nightstand.
• Medium, 120 × 60 cm. Suitable above a sideboard, bed, or TV unit.
• Large, 140 × 75 cm. For a wide wall, above a sofa, bed, or dining table.

Dimensions are the width × height of the complete set. Not sure which size fits best? Mark the outer dimensions of the set on the wall with masking tape. This way, you can see in advance how much space the set will take up.

Hang without drilling

The double-sided Tesa Powerbond Ultra Strong mounting tape has already been applied by us to the back of each panel. You do not need a drill, screws, or wall plugs.

1. Clean the wall. Choose a smooth, firm surface and ensure it is clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free.
2. Determine the position. First, lay the panels out in the correct order on the floor. Then hold them against the wall, check the height and alignment, and make light pencil marks. Keep a space of approximately 2 to 3 cm between the panels.
3. Remove the foil and press. Work panel by panel: remove the protective foil and press the panel firmly against the wall over the entire surface.

Pay attention to the surface: The tape is intended for a smooth, firm, clean, and dry surface. Avoid coarse textures, loose wallpaper, damp or powdery walls, and poorly adhering paint layers. Check the position carefully beforehand. Residue or damage may remain when removing the permanent tape.

We only make your wall decor after you have ordered. You will receive the set within 3 to 7 working days. After shipment, you will receive a track-and-trace code by email. Shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium is free for orders over €100.

Where does this set look best?

Above a sofa or sideboard, in the hallway, or in an office. On a light-colored wall, black MDF provides the clearest view of the continents.
